The setups allows for photophysical characterization of photoactive materials (e.g. photosensitizers, laser dyes, photovoltaic materials such as perovskites) based on pump-probe techniques in which ultrashort laser pulses are used to excite the sample and monitor changes in absorption over time in femto- and picosecond timescales.

It is possible to adapt the configuration of the system to perform non-standard measurements, e.g. using additional pulses (the pump-dump-probe technique) and optimization in terms of selected measurement parameters. Standard system parameters are:

  • excitation in the 370-800 nm range
  • absorption monitoring in the range of 450-1000 nm
  • temporal resolution of 150 fs

Elements included in the station:

  • Source of spectrally tuneable ultrashortlaser pulses
  • Low noise camera with a high quantum
    yield

Pricing (netto):

  • Measurements of photophysical properties of materials with the time- resolved spectroscopy setup: 1000 PLN/hour
  • Adaptation of the experimental setup and optimization in terms of selected parameters: 2000 PLN/hour
