The station allows the preparation of samples of biological materials for spectroscopic measurements using a laboratory ultracentrifuge and screening studies of materials with emission and absorption spectroscopy using a multi-well microplate reader. Thanks to the integration of the reader with laser pulse sources, it is also possible to analyse materials by registering amplified spontaneous emission.
It is possible to prepare samples in the form of solutions or layers for emission and absorption measurements. The microplate reader allows for preliminary screening of samples placed on multi-well plates by measuring emission spectra with laser excitation.
