The NLPQT Project was promoted during the Conference INTEGRATED OPTICS – Sensors, Sensing Structures and Methods (IOS), which intended to provide a forum for discussion on the development in the area of optoelectronics, integrated optics and photonic structures. The conference took place in Szczyrk between Fabruary 28th and March 3rd. The session fully devoted to the perspectives for the NLPQT infrastructure was held on March 2nd.
The list of conference topics included, but was not limited to:
- optoelectronic sensors and sensing structures,
- components and circuits for optoelectronic sensors,
- nano- and microtechnology in integrated optics,
- integrated optical circuits for optical signal processing,
- active and passive waveguide components, modulators and switches,
- integrated planar waveguides, materials and fabrication technology for integrated optical and photonic circuits,
- mechatronics,
- characterization of linear and nonlinear optical waveguide devices,
- integrated optical circuits for optical signal processing,
- sensors for environmental monitoring,
- numerical and semi-analytical methods for the modelling of guided-wave optics,
- pattern recognition methods for applications in sensing techniques,
- new metrological methods in optoelectronics, integrated optics and sensor techniques.
