Dr. Eng. Jacek Olszewski
He graduated in technical physics from the Faculty of Fundamental Problems of Technology at the Wrocław University of Science and Technology (WUST) in 2002. After receiving his PhD in 2006, he was employed in the Institute of Physics at WUST. Currently, he is an employee of the Department of Optics and Photonics at the Faculty of Fundamental Technological Problems of WUST. He works in a team dealing with research on special optical fibers and their applications. His scientific interests focus on numerical modelling and design of special optical fibers. He was involved in 12 national and international research projects. He has published 32 articles in international scientific journals and over 40 conference communications. He is the author of two patents (including a foreign one). His works were cited over 500 times (without self-citations), h index = 14.
