MSc. Eng. Szymon Malewski
He graduated from the Faculty of Electronics and Telecommunications at the Poznań University of Technology in 2012. Since 2011, he has been working at the Poznań Supercomputing and Networking Center, currently as a computer systems designer in the Network Technology Division. He specializes in multimedia technologies, in particular in the network transmission of high-resolution immersion content, their synchronization and network monitoring. He took part in many projects, both Polish and European, inter alia: GÉANT, VISIONAIR, IIP, related to streaming, video conferencing, infrastructure and high bitrate networks for multimedia purposes. He is currently involved in the research on optical network management and the time distribution. Within the NLPQT project, he participates in the construction of the Monitoring and Management System for the Optical Carrier Distribution Network.
