About us
We apply quantum optical techniques to imaging. We have developed a phase imaging technique, which is resistant to phase fluctuations. It relies on measuring intensity correlations rather than measuring the intensity itself. Together with the groups of Dan Oron and Yaron Silberberg from the Weizmann Institute of Science, we have introduced a super-resolution microscopy method based on photon antibunching and we are currently working on its applications in bioimaging. We develop new tools, which are capable of spatially resolved ultrafast photon detection. These will enable us to extract useful information from light more efficiently, which is crucial for the applications, where the number of detected photons is the limiting factor such as the super-resolution fluorescence microscopy.
