The station allows microscopic imaging of biological samples using transmitted light, dark field contrast, fluorescence contrast (DAPI, FITC, TRITC, Cy5 markers) and total internal reflection (TIRF – Total Internal Reflection Fluorescence). In the future, the station will also enable Quantitative Phase Imaging (QPI) and photothermal contrast imaging (e.g. for markers made of metallic nanoparticles) with the use of optical phase-sensitive detection.

Elements included in the station:

  • inverted wide field fluorescence microscope
  • low-noise sCMOS camera
  • three-axis piezoelectric scanner
  • set of excitation lasers 520, 638, 785 and 980 nm
  • UV / VIS / NIR fiber optic spectrometer

Pricing (netto):

  • estimated price for using the station with an operator: PLN 500-1500 / hour
