Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń
The research station is designed to test the fluorescence properties of micro and nanostructures such as quantum dots and color centers in a diamond. In the research, the optical excitation uses a coherent light source that can be tuned in the 380-500 and 700-1000nm range with a typical spectral width of 150kHz. The sample can be tested in the temperature range 4-300K. It is possible to measure very low light intensity emitted by samples in the range 350-2400nm with a time resolution of about 30ps.
