Contact person :

The station has a beam-splitting system into three independent working fields dedicated to various applications. It enables laser micromachining in a wide range, from cutting and modifying glass and polymers to metals and hard materials. Surface structuring and functionalization, marking, and welding are possible. In addition, the system’s micromachining stations have an integrated microscope that allows precise positioning and preliminary analysis of results without removing the sample from the system.

Elements included in the station:

  • The TruMicro 2030 femtosecond laser with a wide range of operating parameters. The system allows processing using three wavelengths (1030 nm, 515 nm and 343 nm), tunable pulse durations from 300 fs to 20 ps, and selectable repetition rates up to 50 MHz. In addition, burst mode offers a configurable sequence of laser pulses lying close together in time (GHz frequency), significantly expanding the system’s capabilities.
  • Galvanometric scanners from SCANLAB’s IntelliSCAN and ultra-precise tables from AEROTECH.
  • An integrated VHX-970F microscope which allows precise positioning and preliminary analysis of results without removing the sample from the system.
