The station enables tests and measurements that require the use of a stable frequency reference, e.g. it can provide a synchronisation signal for test equipment (spectrum analysers, generators). It has a number of configurable outputs enabling the generation of frequency- and phase-stable signals, both sinusoidal and pulse signals with precisely determined frequencies in a wide range from mHz to tens of MHz. The GPS module, together with an external antenna, enables the internal timebase to be synchronised and the long-term stability of the generated signals to be better than 10-13
