The set is composed of two optical spectrum analyzers of high sensitivity and high dynamic range: for wavelength ranges from 350 to 1200 nm and from 1200 to 2400 nm. Both devices have advanced functions for spectral analysis, including color analysis (the device for 350-1200 nm range) and WDM analysis for characterization of wavelength division multiplexed telecommunication signals (the device for 1200-2400 nm range).
The set of optical spectrum analyzers together with the supercontinuum source (station no. 54) enables spectral characterization (for example attenuation measurement, chromatic dispersion measurement) of optical fibers and optical components in broad wavelength range.
