MSc. Eng. Aleksander Głuszek
A PhD student in the Laser & Fiber Electronics Group. He conducts research on optical frequency combs with saturable absorbers based on nanomaterials for applications in laser spectroscopy. The laser sources he constructs are used in innovative methods of detecting trace amounts of gases, and the constructed electronic devices are widely used in many experimental systems. In addition, he specializes in the construction of dedicated electronic and opto mechanical devices, such as microprocessor systems, low-noise power supply systems, high efficiency pulse converters, signal acquisition and generation systems and miniature optical cavities. In his professional career, he was the designer of electronic devices for applications in medicine, automotive industry, radio technology and specialized energy distribution systems. Moreover, he is a co-author of a number of demonstrators developed within research grants, including a pulse-picker for femtosecond lasers and a system generating a differential frequency in the range of 7-9 µm.
