Dr. Eng. Dorota Stachowiak
She conducts research on all-fiber optic amplifiers and lasers of medium and high power in the near and medium infrared spectral ranges. The main areas of application of these systems are medicine and environmental monitoring (gas spectroscopy). She is an expert in the design and manufacture of key optical fiber components (such as power couplers and mode field adapters) for amplifiers and lasers. Currently she is involved in the study of an all-fiber pulse source for applications in the scanning ophthalmoscope system.
