Dr. Eng. Paweł Kozioł
He is an expert in the field of laser micromachining, with many years of experience in the implementation of research orders for the industry. He works on the use of anti-resonance microstructured optical fibers of the hollow-core type (so-called Antiresonant Hollow-Core Fibers – ARHCF) for laser gas detection. He carries out experimental works aimed at developing technology for the production of microholes in ARHCF optical fibers using a femtosecond laser, which will translate into an improvement in the rate of gas diffusion to the fiber core. He also began work in the field of laser manufacturing of waveguide structures inside periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystals.
