Dr. hab. Piotr Masłowski
Piotr Masłowski is a graduate of master’s and doctoral studies at the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Applied Computer Science at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. In 2009-2011, as a laureate of the MNiSW Mobility Plus program, he completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the JILA Institute in Boulder, USA in the group of prof. Juna Ye, and in 2013 a scientific internship at IMRA America (USA). He is a laureate of competitions of the National Science Center (SONATA, OPUS programs) and the Foundation for Polish Science (Homing Plus), as well as a scholarship holder of the “Stephenson Distinguished Visitor Program” and “PIER Fellowship” awarded by DESY and the University of Hamburg (Germany). He collaborates with research groups in Sweden, Croatia, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. He is a co-author of over 40 scientific publications and 46 presentations at international conferences, he delivered 16 invited lectures in research centers in Poland and around the world. He is also a member of the Working Group for National Smart Specializations established by the Ministry of Development.
