Dr. Radek Łapkiewicz
Radek Lapkiewicz received his MSc. degree in physics at the University of Warsaw and PhD degree at the University of Vienna in 2008 and 2012, respectively. Since 2015, he is an assistant professor at the University of Warsaw, where he heads the Quantum Optics Lab (http://quantumoptics.fuw.edu.pl) at the Faculty of Physics. He works on applications of quantum optical effects to imaging. His current research interests include spatially resolved photon counting techniques and their applications to quantum imaging, in particular, quantitative phase imaging and super-resolution fluorescence microscopy.
